TripAdvisor’s Traveler Choice Award categories include hotels, beaches, vacation rentals, restaurants, landmarks, airlines, destinations, and destinations on the rise, attractions and, museums.
The hotel category is further sub-divided into top hotels, small hotels, luxury, value for money, best service, B&Bs and Inns, romance, family, bargain and all-inclusive.
In the Top 25 Hotels for Romance category, Belamere Suites in Perrysburg, Ohio made the cut. Where is Perrysburg you wonder? It is a small city located about 12 miles southwest of Toledo in northern Ohio.
Belamere Suites opened its doors in 2003 with a stated mission “to create a romantic retreat for the people of Northwestern Ohio and Southwestern Michigan.” A place near enough to home yet far enough away that comes full of all the romantic must-haves to make it feel like a truly romantic getaway.

An award from the world’s largest travel site that has 7 million accommodations, restaurants and, attractions listed, 570 reviews and opinions and, receives on average of 455 million monthly unique visitors is, therefore, cause for celebration and confirmation that Belamere Suites ‘romantic’ mission has been accomplished.
