Blue Canyon Country Club
The Blue Canyon is a Championship course and is considered to be one of Asia’s best courses, with a load of awards to back up their claim. There a are two courses in the club, the Canyon course, and the Lakes course.
The Canyon Course with 80 bunkers and water lakes on 10 holes. Straying onto the rough on the Canyon course is more hazardous than the lakes course. This course has five refreshment kiosks spread around it.
The Lakes course has 36 bunkers and golfers have 17 lakes to contend with; this course has larger putting surfaces than the Canyon course. This course has four kiosks and provides golf carts.
Both courses have wind issues to consider when playing a round. The courses share the club’s large clubhouse which is a five-star facility providing a lot of amenities. The club has approximately 900 global members and employs around 450 female caddies that are expertly trained and provide a professional service.The courses also provide natural wildlife found in their natural environment, such as tortoises, iguanas, civet cats, large Komodo dragons, squirrels, kingfishers, artic swifts, tiny swallowtails, and extravagant butterflies.
The club also offers an indoor and outdoor driving range and four practice putting greens. It also provides Professional golfing lessons and pro equipment shops. There are two high-quality restaurants, the Golfers Terrace for light meals and the Canyon restaurant for more extravagant dining. Red Mountain Golf Club
The Red Mountain boasts two courses, the old one designed by Dr. Sukitti Klangwisai was opened in 1998 and offers 18 holes with a 72 par and 6,434 yards. The new one, which was opened in 2007. The new one, designed by Jon Morrow and Al Tikkanen, offers a highly strategic and challenging 6,900 yards layout to complement the shorter and gentler old course. The name is derived from the red soil and landscape where the course is nestled. It is a 15-minute drive from Phuket town, and its location makes it a great getaway from the hustle and bustle of the beaches.
The clubhouse sits about two kilometers from the course, on top of a hill overlooking the 9th and 18th holes. It houses a fine restaurant and boutique pro equipment and clothing shop. If you come without equipment, the club will rent you a variety of choices. The restaurant is open from 6am to 7pm and offers a variety of western and Asian dishes, the location is such, that many diners are not golfers. The locker rooms are situated in the clubhouse, and golf carts are provided by the staff for ease of access to the course.
The course is extremely vibrant and provides many different landscapes as well as different hazards for each hole. There are four tee-boxes, Red which is 5,203 yards; White is 5,925 yards, Blue which is 6,341 yards and the professional Black which is 6,781 yards.

Laguna Phuket Golf Club
What was once known as the Banyan Tree Golf Club, is now the renovated Laguna Phuket which changed its appearance and name. With a new brand, all greens have been restructured with more rolls and dips as well as different hazards. They have also added some mature trees to bolster the woodland effect. Since its redesign, the Laguna Phuket has become one of Phuket’s best golf courses, especially appreciated by Nick Faldo, the British tournament Pro player.
The changes players and visitors will find include lakes situated around 14 holes. This course is not considered a hard one and is suited for any level of play. The club has 395 members and employs 209 caddies. It placed several kiosks around the course that provide both sustenance and cold towels for the hotter hours of the day.
The course was designed by Max Wexler, and it was opened in 1991. It provides a 72 par over a 6,870-yard course. The ornamental clubhouse pond and Thai pavilion style clubhouse offers a first-class café, professional golfing lessons and teaching facility with state of the art video analytics. The Laguna Phuket also provides practice bunkers, driving greens, and chipping areas.
Laguna Phuket Golf Club is located in the Laguna compound, which contains many of the island’s top resorts and up-market homes. It’s a short drive to the island’s western beaches. Loch Palm Golf Course
The Loch Palm Golf Club offers greens that are maintained for playable speeds which is a favorable option that attracts returning golfers. However, this course also provides some water hazards as well as dense jungle foliage. The variety of terrain and the dense foliage provide a good background to track any shot as well as maintain interest in the eye. In 2004 three new holes were added including a tee space upgrade, larger water features, and better landscaping. There are water hazards on 13 holes and 67 bunkers in total. Five kiosks are dispersed around the course providing shade and refreshments. This course is by far the most relaxing of the top six and makes for a less strenuous venue.
The club is home to 300 members and employs 250 caddies. Golf carts are provided to all guests. The course is extremely popular, so it is best to book ahead of time. Mission Hills
Mission Hills Golf Club is by the sea and is not a links course. Designed Nicklaus Design, it is unique when compared to all the other courses on the island. In fact, you will find some interesting concepts not found anywhere, such as two alternative finishing greens for the 18th hole. The landscaping is amazing, with the vibrant colors of the Paspalum sea isle grass combined with the rubber plantations that surround the club, add to that the sea, and you have a vision of excellence. The hotel and clubhouse are beyond reproach, a true five-star environment that pampers to every whim. The Mission Hills is a “piece of living art” and golfers will need to focus on the game and not the extraordinary horizons.
Water hazards are set at 7 holes, and the sea prides breezes that can confuse many players. Golf carts and caddies offer excellent services, and the spa provides amenities to restore and invigorate the body after a long game. The club includes a driving range, a pro shop, Jacuzzi, and pool with two bars and a restaurant.

Phuket Country Club Golf
This amazing golf course is set in a valley that runs through a forest and provides hilly ground as well as flats. There are two courses, the 18 hole which includes water hazards in 7 holes and it has 54 bunkers. It is an easy course for every level of golfer. There are 6,482 yards providing a par 72 game. Hole 10 is unusual for any course; it offers a dogleg right turn that snakes around a lake but is reachable in one shot, if you know how to calculate, it can par in three but is set at par 5.
The second course is a nine-hole course is par 37 and is one of the best offering a challenge to even the best of golfers. It has a total length of 3,575 yards and is set in beautifully landscaped surroundings. 80% of this course involves water.
There are two clubhouses, one for each course. Each one provides access to swimming pools located at each course, as well as a 52-bay practice range, a putting green, and chipping facilities. You will also find a games room, tennis courts, and saunas on site.
